Decadent Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches

Here is the totally yummy recipe for this Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwich.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

1/2  cup of butter

1 tbsp. vanilla extract

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup all purpose flour

1 whole egg

pinch of salt

and at this point,  fold in your dark chocolate chips*

 

Ice Cream

1 cup cream

1/2 cup whole milk

1/2 cup white sugar

1 tbsp. vanilla extract

pinch of salt

once you’ve removed the mixture from the ice cream machine, fold in your dark chocolate chips*

* it looks like Byron just eyeballs the amount on the chocolate chips, I’m guessing 1 to 1 1/2 cups in the dough and in the ice cream.
